Jenn Blosil | SOUND Sessions
A quick mental review of notable music hubs in the U.S. would likely bring to mind cities like Manhattan, Austin or L.A. Largely overlooked in this exercise is Provo, UT — more well-known for housing a “stone cold sober” college campus and throngs of clean-cut, church-going inhabitants. However, unbeknownst to many, this city (the second largest in Utah) has a thriving population of talented up-and-coming musicians — not to mention acts that have already “made it” (Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons and Fictionist just to name a few).
SOUND caught up with Jenn Blosil, a barely 19 year-old, piano-playing songstress with huge, soulful pipes (not to mention hair with a similar description). Somewhere between of Corinne Bailey Rae and Adele, Jenn has a unique style and undeniable songwriting prowess. See her in action and get a taste for what’s brewing in Utah.
